1. Material properties
Base material: Nylon 6 (PA6) or nylon 66 (PA66), PA66 has better temperature resistance (melting point is about 260ºC).
Reinforcement material: Some models add glass fiber (to improve tensile strength) or flame retardant (UL 94 V0/V2 certification).
Temperature range:
Conventional type: -40ºC to +85ºC (PA6);
High temperature resistant type: -40ºC to +150ºC (PA66);
Short-term temperature peak resistance can reach +200ºC (special modified material).
2. Mechanical properties
Tensile strength:
Light type: 18~50N (suitable for small wire harnesses);
Standard type: 50~250N (general scenarios);
Heavy type: 250~500N (industrial equipment, automotive wire harnesses);
Ultra-heavy type: 500~1000N (construction, heavy machinery).
Elongation at break: 2%~4% (lower for high tensile models).
Locking force: Self-locking design, low rebound rate, prevents loosening.
